Edward and his brother Maurice were prolific illustrators who were born in Wandsworth, London in 1883. They specialised in animals, plants and religious themes including illustrating The Arabian Nights and Rudyard Kipling’s Jungle Book.
A rare etching entitled ‘To the promised land’ it features Abraham overseeing the camel train.
It is time stained with sun damage.
Re-framed and new mounts.
